Holistic thinking designer driven to tell visual stories, connect people, and solve business problems.

From Andrew Whitmore
The love of the design process and visual problem-solving is what drew me to a career in design. My education started at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA studying Graphic Design and since then, I've had the opportunity to work at Spritz Marketing, a small boutique design agency in San Francisco, in the healthcare space by working at eHealth and Carbon Health, and Nike by gaining experience in the Web3 space.
Through these various experiences, I've had to opportunity to support marketing and social teams by way of designing social media content, one-pagers, and email campaigns. To product design teams by supporting in research and visual design.
When I'm not designing, I spend as much time as I can outdoors either walking or cycling. Photography has been a way for me to also get out and explore nature and interact with different people.

Reading became really important to me as a way to continue to learn and grow. I found myself going to different bookstores and coming out with four design books at a time. I even had a mission of reading 100 design books. Overtime, I came across an overlap between psychology, mindfulness and design which lead me to the practice of meditation and transitioning to reading psychology.
I believe this is what has formed my interest in "design thinking" as a whole to see how the entire experience and process is connected. Internally and externally between brand and audience to on an individual level on how people preceive ideas.
